Leadership

I asked this RJ question to my students last week, "What do you think is leadership?" The best response I get so far was this:

"True leadership has nothing to do with rank, position or authority. It comes from inspiring others with your own example. Of course, one of the unwritten rules of human behavior is that most people will follow anyone who appears to know where he's going, even if he really doesn't. And being a decisive leader is very important, but it will only take you so far. A real leader doesn't just motivate others to follow behind him: he also inspires them to leadership themselves."
