Reflection
I'm re-reading this article by Steve Jobs again. The paragraph dawn on me again - "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.
So, I've asked myself a few months ago when I first read this article. At that point, I told Pearl that I believe that things will somehow come into place as I move on. And I presently (during that time) have no complaints, I was enjoying what I was doing.
Today, as I ask myself this question again, I knew I had a slightly different answer. I want to so much live a life of fullness, able to share my thoughts through teaching, sharing, and more. And it hit me even stronger this time, that I want to write and be a writer. I don't know where I could start, or already am starting. I used to write short stories during my younger days which never really gets published. (Check out this website). I wrote for my company's corporate event magazine before. I wrote mini guide books for myself to read on Personal Development. I wrote a few children's fictional stories before. But all these (works) are not validated in any way. Nonetheless, these are not important. The important thing was that I felt freedom, I felt energise, I felt good as I let my word express in endless stories.
I checked out a few websites on writing, and I found 2 interesting links. www.writersbureau.com and www.writersdigest.com. Oops! Look at the time, gotta go for my class. More later!
